Choosing between Benidorm’s main beaches is really about the holiday you want outside your room. Both deserve a look, but your evening plans and daily walking routine will help you choose a base.
Choose Levante when convenience means entertainment
If your priority is familiar bars, shows and a busy seafront atmosphere, start your hotel search around Levante. Then narrow it to the actual venues you want to visit. A hotel can be on the right side of town and still involve more walking than you expected.
Choose Poniente when the promenade is the attraction
If your ideal morning involves a walk by the sea and an unhurried lunch, investigate Poniente. Check where along the beach your hotel sits: proximity to the Old Town changes as you move along the coast.
Let the return journey decide
Plot the route home from your likely evening stops. Compare slopes, distance and taxi needs. If one person sleeps early and the other loves late shows, discuss that now; a sea view is not a substitute for a good night’s sleep.
