A beachfront hotel sounds wonderfully straightforward until you discover that ‘near the sea’ and ‘sea-view room’ are doing rather different jobs. Choose the stretch of coast first, then check what your room booking actually guarantees.
Choose the beach that suits your holiday
Use Levante if you want to compare stays near a lively promenade and much of the familiar resort entertainment. Consider Poniente for its long waterfront and a different pace. Look at the exact location rather than assuming every part of either beach feels the same.
Read the room description
A beachfront building does not mean every room faces the water. Check whether the view is full, side or partial, whether a balcony is included and whether the room category is guaranteed. Ask for clarification before paying a sea-view supplement.
Think about sound and access
Waterfront locations can come with promenade activity, deliveries and nearby venues. Read recent comments about the room location and ask about upper-floor or quieter options if that matters to you. Check the walking route to the beach rather than judging from a photograph.
Compare the complete booking
Look at board basis, cancellation terms and any parking or facility charges. H10 Porto Poniente and Villa Venecia are names you can investigate through our hotel guide, but compare their exact position, room types and suitability for your dates before choosing.
