What sort of stag do are you planning?
The best weekend is the one the groom actually enjoys. There is no prize for squeezing six activities into Saturday, especially when half the group has only just found breakfast.
Big nights out
Use Levante and the New Town as your starting point, then mix live bands, tribute shows and late bars. Pick a meeting place before everybody discovers their favourite pub.
Beach and a breather
A promenade walk, a swim when conditions suit and lunch by the sea can rescue a busy weekend. Leave time to do absolutely nothing.
A bit of adventure
Look at boat trips and bookable activities for your dates. Check the itinerary, group limits, meeting point and cancellation policy first.
Where should a stag group stay?
Levante and the New Town suit groups wanting the beach and nightlife within reach. The Old Town works for tapas and a different evening pace; Poniente can suit those who would rather sleep away from the busiest streets.
Hotel Presidente and Port Benidorm are options to investigate for location. These are not confirmed stag-friendly recommendations: get written agreement from the property for your particular group before booking.

Sort accommodation before the matching T-shirts. Tell the hotel the exact size and nature of your group before paying: not every property accepts stag or hen parties. Check deposits, room occupancy, visitor rules, cancellation terms and who pays if somebody drops out.
- Agree a total budget, including flights, luggage, transfers, food and activities.
- Nominate one organiser and one backup; keep booking confirmations in a shared folder.
- Check whether an activity accepts your group size and whether everyone meets its requirements.
- Book with the named provider and read its terms before committing.
Things to do between the nights out
A boat trip makes a change from another afternoon at the same bar. Some trips are sightseeing outings rather than party boats, so read what you are buying. Sea activities depend on weather and the operator’s calendar.
For a free plan, wander the promenade or head into the Old Town for tapas. For paid attractions, check opening dates: a summer water park is not automatically an option in November.
A simple two-night stag itinerary
- Friday: arrive, check in, eat together and choose a first venue. Keep it easy if flights have been delayed.
- Saturday: a relaxed breakfast, one pre-booked activity or beach time, then dinner and live entertainment.
- Sunday: breakfast, a final promenade stroll and plenty of time for the transfer. Nobody wants the best man sprinting through departures.

Get everyone there — and home
A shared shuttle may suit a smaller group with flexible timing. For a larger party, compare a private vehicle quote using the exact passenger count and luggage. Check whether different flight arrivals require separate bookings.

Agree a meeting point, keep phones charged and save the accommodation address. Look after anybody who needs to leave early; the night is better when the whole group gets back together.

No. You can build a quieter trip around the beach, tapas and live music. Start with what the groom wants rather than a list of things a stag do is supposed to include.
Can we book any hotel as a stag group?
No. Contact the property before paying and get confirmation that it accepts your group, along with any deposits or rules.
