Where to start along Poniente
Choose the end of Poniente that suits where you are staying. Near the Old Town end, look at Calle San Pedro, also written as Sant Pere. Further along the beach, Avenida de la Armada Española has several seafront options. Avenida Vicente Llorca Alós covers more choices towards the western end.
“Poniente” can cover a substantial stretch of your holiday map. A venue with a sea view may still be an inconvenient walk from your hotel. Open the directions before you commit, especially if someone in your group needs a shorter route. The beach is not a reason to assume every entrance or terrace is step-free.

Keep your plan to one part of the beach. You might start with a promenade walk, choose a café stop, then decide whether to stay for food or move to a nearby drinks venue. There is no need to turn a relaxed evening into a checklist of distant bars.

Before booking a hotel or apartment, compare its map position with the places you actually want to visit. Check the walking route to the beach, the return from dinner and how your airport transfer reaches the accommodation. A property labelled Benidorm may not be near your chosen part of Poniente.
