BENIDORM365 · GOOD COMPANY, SEA VIEWS & A BRILLIANT SEND-OFF

Hen Dos in Benidorm

Pool time, tapas, a seaside toast and a night singing along to somebody who knows the words. Plan a Benidorm hen do around the bride, with a few good bookings and plenty of time together.

Make it her kind of weekend

Some brides want dancing until late. Others want a lovely dinner, sea views and a comfortable bed. Both count. Ask what she would enjoy, agree a budget everyone can manage and resist turning the group chat into a second job.

Beach and cocktails

Leave an afternoon for the promenade, beachfront drinks and a long lunch. Check table availability directly if you are bringing a large group.

Tapas and a show

Start in the Old Town for a relaxed meal, then choose live music or a tribute show. Check the venue’s current programme and booking arrangements.

A day out together

A boat outing or another booked experience can give the weekend a focus. Pick something everyone is comfortable joining.

Choose the right base for the group

Levante is handy for beach time and the lively New Town. Old Town accommodation suits tapas and wandering; Poniente is worth considering if a calmer setting matters more than being beside the late bars.

Port Benidorm Hotel and swimming pool

Port Benidorm is a hotel I often stay at, and Hotel Presidente is another option to investigate around the livelier side of town. A good location does not mean automatic hen-party acceptance. Ask the property about your group before booking.

Sort accommodation before the matching T-shirts. Tell the hotel the exact size and nature of your group before paying: not every property accepts stag or hen parties. Check deposits, room occupancy, visitor rules, cancellation terms and who pays if somebody drops out.

  • Agree a total budget, including flights, luggage, transfers, food and activities.
  • Nominate one organiser and one backup; keep booking confirmations in a shared folder.
  • Check whether an activity accepts your group size and whether everyone meets its requirements.
  • Book with the named provider and read its terms before committing.

Lovely ideas beyond the pool

Try a sea outing, a tapas afternoon or a stroll to the Balcón del Mediterráneo for photos. You do not need a packed timetable to make it memorable. If you want a spa visit or a group meal, check availability and group arrangements directly with the venue.

Check weather, accessibility, dietary needs and cancellation terms before booking. Sea trips can change with conditions, and seasonal attractions may be closed outside summer.

An easy hen weekend plan

  • Friday: settle in, have dinner together and enjoy a first evening without a rigid timetable.
  • Saturday: a leisurely breakfast, beach time or one booked activity, then time to get ready for dinner and entertainment.
  • Sunday: coffee, a promenade walk and a sensible departure plan. Save the airport outfit for an airport, not a last-minute costume change.

For show ideas, open What’s On or the free app. Confirm any tickets, minimum spend or table booking with the venue.

The boring bits that make the fun bits easier

Book the airport journey with the full passenger and luggage count. Shared shuttles can be useful for smaller groups; compare a private transfer if travelling together matters.

Read our transfer guide

  • Set a meeting spot in case the group splits up.
  • Save the hotel address and keep enough phone battery for the journey back.
  • Agree how shared costs will be paid before the weekend.
  • Make space for anyone who wants an earlier night.

Hen do questions, answered

Can we plan a hen do without clubbing?

Absolutely. Beach time, Old Town tapas, a group meal and live entertainment can make a lovely weekend.

Are these hotels confirmed hen-friendly?

No. The hotel links are starting points for research. Ask each property to confirm acceptance of your group and its rules before paying.

Do you organise hen packages?

Benidorm365 provides independent advice and links to booking providers. We do not currently sell an organised hen package.
